Stock2Market Ltd (“Stock2Market”, “we”, “us”) provides software for motor dealers to manage vehicle media and publish content to connected services. Contact us about privacy at james@stock2market.com.

Information we handle

Depending on how you use our services, information may include your name, business contact details, account and dealership information, vehicle photographs and videos, vehicle listing information, publishing instructions, connected-service identifiers and permissions, and technical records needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service. Vehicle media may incidentally include identifiable people or registration plates.

How we use information

We use relevant information to provide account access, import or display vehicle information, process media, carry out authorised publishing requests, maintain publishing history, support users, protect the service and comply with applicable obligations.

Connected services

Where authorised by a dealership, Stock2Market interacts with third-party services such as Meta's Facebook and Instagram, YouTube and Auto Trader. Information needed for a requested action may be exchanged with the selected service. Content published to a third-party platform is also subject to that platform's own terms and privacy practices.

Lawful basis and roles

Our lawful basis depends on the activity and may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests in providing and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where required. For some dealership-controlled information we may act as a processor on the dealership's instructions; for our own account and business administration we may act as a controller.

Storage, security and retention

We take appropriate measures to protect information and retain it only as needed for the purposes described, applicable contractual commitments and legal requirements. Some processing and hosting may involve service providers outside the UK; where required, appropriate safeguards must apply.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Requests can be sent to james@stock2market.com. We may need to verify your identity and may refer dealership-controlled requests to the relevant dealership.
